Hello, I was accepted to CSUF and I plan to attend there this fall. I have a problem 1st semester of my senior year I got a “D” in my Ap gov class. It’s only a one semester class, and now it’s to late to retake the course. Will CSUF revoke my admission? I’m really scared! Please help!
Talk with your guidance counselor about this. That person will have ideas for you.
Did you send your 7th semester transcript to CSUF? If so, they would have seen the D. Did you get accepted before or after the transcripts were sent? Have your GC contact CSUF admissions and ask if you can retake the course during the summer to keep your acceptance.
You need to contact CSUF directly, or have your GC contact them as soon as possible.
They will let you know if you are likely to be rescinded, or if there are any steps that you can take to prevent it.
Typically, summer courses are not an option, but you never know.
Gumbymom, since all grades for years 10 & 11 are self-reported, there are no transcripts sent except a final transcript
to the schools that the student has committed to.
CSU Fullerton is one of the few CSU’s that does ask for 7th semester transcripts from most students.
My transcript are due in July I haven’t contact them yet, I’m scared that they will say that my application will be revoked.
Since my major is Business do you think AP Gov will affect my application being rescinded?
Better to find out now what your options are then later in July when you might not have any options. Any a-g course you are taking Senior year regardless of major will impact your acceptance, that is why applicants are provisionally admitted and must pass their Senior classes.
