Acceptance ?

Anyone who applied receive word on admission to UNH as yet ? Two other q's: Any thoughts on the hospitality school at Whittemore; What are chances for a 2.94 gpa oos w/ scores v 530 m 600 and lots of ec's plus varsity athletics ?

My daughter received her acceptance to the College of Liberal Arts with a major in Theater on November 19th.

When did she apply and what were her stats if you care to divulge ? Are you in the New England area and what does she/you think of the university ?

She applied in late October. She has a 3.5 GPA and her SAT’s were about a 1700 (not a great test taker). Yes, we are in the NE area. She liked the school very much…was more impressed with the campus than she thought she would be.

I got deferred. They asked to see my mid-year grades. I am a B- GPA with a 26 ACT, which translates roughly to a 1190 SAT. I’m from out of state, Virginia.

Where did you check your status, … website or were you sent a letter ? What was your GPA and other ec’s… Have you considered taking the SAT instead of relying upon the ACT score ?

The website says that all decisions will be sent by mail. My son has not received a letter one way or the other.

My daughter received her acceptance via a letter which was dated Nov 19th.

Keep checking the status at myUNH. My D’s status changed to “Admitted - Early Action” a few days before the letter came in the mail.

My daughter’s status has been “Complete - Ready for Review” for weeks now. Is the next status the decision?

First her status read “Ready for review” then “Decision made” or something like that. It indicated that decisions would arrive by mail. But when she checked a few days later, it changed to “Admitted - early action.” After another few days, she got the letter. Hope this helps.
