My OOS D received her acceptance to Nursing Program via mail on Monday, 12/22. Letter dated 12/15. I don’t know when she last checked portal so I don’t know what status her portal currently reports. She had been getting discouraged when nothing posted and she applied end of October so she may have stopped checking . She was genuinely surprised to receive the envelope. Exterior of mailing envelope reads “Congratulations.” She received Dean’s Scholarship. Nice Christmas present. Good luck to all and Merry Christmas.

Congrats! My OOS D is first year nursing. Honors program. Loves Quinnipiac!!! I am very happy with it so far also.

@cakeisgreat my daughter is seriously considering Q and likewise considering applying to Honors program so, maybe she could connect with your daughter to gain some insight on Nursing Program generally and Honors program more specifically?

Daughter just got her letter. Applied EA end of October and accepted 5 year BA,BS/MA in Elementary Ed. Trustee Scholarship.

@dvsgrandkids - my D would love to answer any questions you or your daughter might have regarding nursing, honors, or anything Quinnipiac! PM me and I’ll send you her school email. She became a tour guide as well so she has good knowledge to go along with experience.

What solidified QU being the perfect fit for her was attending a shadow a student day. She shadowed a nursing student and came home knowing this is where she wanted to call home. It was tough bcz she got acceptances from several amazing nursing programs, including uconn, u Delaware, tcnj, and nine other schools, but QU was it.

She found her best friends mostly from the honors program, the Christian group she got involved in, and her singing group she tried out for and made it into. She does not party and was glad to find people there that like to have fun without the night life scene…but it is there if you like that. The students go to toads and seem to like it, but D has never been there, so I don’t know too much about it. She almost joined a philanthropic sorority but she is just too busy lol, so had to decline the invite. There is so much to do on campus that she really is as involved as she wants. I hope that helps!

PM me!

Congrats @CGIRL7 on the acceptance. Great program! on one of our tour visits, my Ds friend was interested in that program so we toured the facility. A staff member saw us and stopped her work to give us a personal tour. We loved it! She ended up getting accepted but no merit, so she stayed in state. But she loved it!

Congratulations to everyone on your acceptances. Wishing you the best on your final choice decision wherever your DCs decide!!

We found out this week as an early Chrsitmas gift that my Daughter was accepted into PA program with trustee’s scholarship … This is her sixth acceptance into a PA program and her first choice and will accept given its the best program and she loved the school/ campus and most everyone we have met have been friendly and great …especially the Admissions staff … So basically I will now send in the deposit and sign her up for acceptance days… As a parent it’s a huge relief to finally have the decision made…
She applied to 5 Nursing programs as well and we have heard from 3 of the 5 and waiting on two but her heart was set on PA after she shadowed an orthopedic PA…and she is not looking back and wants to be a Bobcat… Best of luck to you…

Son accepted into Game Program-- $23K Trustee Scholarship.

Congrats @collegemoneyman and @prsmom! My D knows some PA students, and they are really nice people. I concur as I have met one of them and their family on move in day. Our experience at tours, college acceptance days, etc. was also that everyone was so nice and helpful, and they still are now that she is in the school. The over night orientation was really fun and bonding as well. See you in the fall! @prsmom…good luck with your family college decisions!
