Acceptances for Fall 2009

does that mean you aren't accepted? =o(

The method of waitlist described above is apparently becoming the trend. That is how CCM and Otterbein are doing it this year as well, or so they say.

If a person declines prior to May 1, they would notify the waitlisted person as soon as they know that slot is available.

As for "pending", I don't think it means a rejection - it could mean they are waiting for a piece yet to come in - teacher rec., test scores, transcripts, etc.

Some school (I cannot remember which one at this point) said they ask for a 48 hour decision for anyone pulled off the wait list, so not sure if this is common or not, but you should be thinking about it in advance of a phone call.

OK, We're feeling forgotten here. The 20th is past, and no letter. Anyone else not heard a thing yet????

Mom4X...that is unusual but it is the case for CMU....I was the one who posted that as my D got that at CMU...they call it Priority Wait List there. Most schools give you longer than that to decide if you are offered a spot off a wait list. CMU sent my D her financial aid package so she'd have all that in hand in case. Most schools will give you more than 48 hours though.

Could anyone tell me which is better: Baldwin-Wallace or Emerson college for Musical Theatre?

rbbrawley:

There is a thread going on if you scroll down past the list of colleges on the main MT page. It is titled “BW vs. Otterbein”. Take a look at that thread! I wrote a lengthy post about BW!

Hello! I just finished my freshman year as an MT at BW, and wanted to welcome you! If you have any questions or anything feel free to get at me! : )

Can anyone post pictures of a double and a triple dorm room–they don’t have to be great pics…just so we can get an idea of what they look like? Thanks!

For which dorm? do you know? I lived in a double in lang, but lang is pretty different than most of the other dorms.
