It’s not that Lafayette’s not interested, imho. Lafayette does take a decent number of international students. I hear, there are two acceptances from Nepal and there is a decent number of international students at Lafayette.

@sixstringsrocker: you don’t get my point. I mean the admission office talks about financial aid just as an excuse, so that we feel better. In reality, those who are not accepted are just not good enough for Lafay to give aid too. Lafay does give generous aid to some intl.

If you are wondering why UWC, then research well about the IB Diploma.

Not every one from UWC gets into good schools. I had IB score of 43 although my SAT score was very poor…
Writing 800, Critical Reading 750, Maths 560

@Evangelica: I WAS a round I applicant. but haven’t completed financial aid application yet. is your fin aid decision out? and what school are you from? @nepalithito: congrats on your multiple acceptances to great schools. has tufts emailed you yet?? btw, dartmouth had said, “This is just a brief note to inform you that your decision letter will be posted online to the Dartmouth Student Information System after 5:00 pm Eastern Time on Wednesday, March 30.” may be they notify acceptances earlier than denials!?

like confidential2015 said, the program of your high school doesn’t count much whether it is IB, A levels, +2 or even CBSE.Although the name of school may count like in case of UWC, or may be RBS. But whatever course you do in your high school, make sure you earn good grades and go beyond your academics i.e. extracurriculars (not limiting to blood donation, science exhibitions and sports; be multidimensional). The quality in you matters much, not the name of a high school.

And mong those two, I’d too suggest RBS’s Alevels!!
:)

I actually don’t care that much for brand value, I simply want a very academically fulfilling program. Considering the fact that I’m already in the A level program, there wouldn’t be much to change for.
Tritinian, thanks for the advice, but when you go to Rato Bangala, the school place quite an emphasis on College placement ever since the first grade. I’m already very active, and I expect great grades from my A levels, as well as my SATs. And thus I expect to get into atleast one great college.
On the same note, CC2015, does the college you will be going to have 85 NLs?
