Hey guys, how is Trinity College’s financial aid?
I was rejected by Trinity EDII sob sob. Wonder if it’s because I ask for too much $ or they just don’t like me

^^ i think it is least because of financial aid…one got into EDII in trinity and he doesnt have to pay a penny…there must me loan and on campus job…but he would need 0 financial support (RUMORS)

There is no on campus job (work study) in Trinity’s policy.
And, Trinity generally makes you pay 800-1000$ less than what you have written in ISFAA. I have seen a lot of applicants from Nepal for RD too…It is fun to work in Admissions :p

@2014
‘a lot of’ meaning??.. Around 10, 20, 25… how much???

btw, I have not received any emails from Trinity colege(CT) stating my app is complete or whatsoever…Only those weird financial aid emails asking for social security number…nd Profile.

More than 25…I can’t count the whole shelf of files though! Ask international admission in-charge about question about your file. And, if you wanna add something to your file, just send her an email, and that email will be printed out and get added to your file!

So, there are 6 acceptances till now in Trinity as far as I know! GREAT!!! RD still to roll in!!!

^^ dude, if u see the SAT requirements of Trinity College in their website, u’ll see that they will require either SAT or SATII or TOEFL score + high school GPA for admission. If u have a moderate SAT score try to score higher in ur remaining standardize tests like SATII or TOEFL. My piece of advice, try to score higher in SAT II and TOEFL test, that may help u in getting admitted, Provided u do have a good high school academics.
BTW are u applying for the class of 2015 or 2016?

The person who reads all the international applicants, and takes each decision (international) herself knows a lot about Nepali students. SAT is optional, but I HIGHLY recommend you to take SAT2! SAT2 really counts here…And, if possible, be in touch with her (tell her what you want her know about you). If you send email and tell her to add the email also to the application file, then it will be added up in your file.

^^ i guess, yes…Like 2014 said, SATII really counts. I had two frens, of same stats in high school, same TOEFL score and almost same SAT score. But, One took the SAT II and the other didnt. The other had a better ECAs and essay too but still the first guy (he scored 2350 (800+800+750)) got accepted and the second guy, who was a tough competitor got rejected.
So i suppose u’ll be having a tough time…
Gud luck bro!!

How many Nepali students were accepted by TrinColl in ED II?? I can see that 2014 mentioned somewhere about acceptance of 6 Nepali students this very year. Is that true?
