What's a Chancellor's scholarship? Also, is it possible to get into CHP and Regent's w/o acceptance? ALSO: Does anyone know how easy it is to switch out of a certain major or school? Thanks :)

is this CHP and Regent's thing something that you needed to apply for at the beginnign? im totally clueless as to what that means. they dont just like give it to you even if you never asked for it do they? i mean if you qualify.

you dont apply for it. if you qualify, they give it to you
CHP= Campuswide Honors Program
Regents= 9000 per/year scholarship
Chancellor= 4000 something i think/ year scholarship

what exactly constitutes a qualifying applicant? i mean my grades arent stellar but my W gpa is like between 3.8-4.2. my SAT way 2320 though. does excellence in one make a candidate or is it more of an overall overachiever theyre looking for?

you dont apply for it. if you qualify, they give it to you
CHP= Campuswide Honors Program
Regents= 9000 per/year scholarship
Chancellor= 4000 something i think/ year scholarship

um i want to say its a overall well rounded student

Chancellor=free in-state tuition & fees (estimated $8150 for 2007)
