Still waiting to hear from USC
any arguments why UCLA is better? :)

If It makes you feel better I got into UT Austin and probably won’t attend. Personally, I would’ve chosen to attend Texas A&M over UT anyday. The campus is beautiful and very large. The city of college station is really nice and is definitely not as crazy, with traffic and such, like LA. The students at A&M have so much pride and are like a family. They are super friendly, and the campus gives you a nice close-knit feeling. The only reason I did not apply is because it is only about an hour-twenty from me, my sister graduated from there, and my brother is now attending there.

Now if you want a city that always has something going on, then I would definitely go with UCLA. College Station is nice, but doesn’t have half as nearly attractions and events to offer like UCLA.

I do not know anything about Purdue, but I hope I helped!

does the website ever update it’s financial status? casue i don’t want to summit my SIR yet until it’s shows the right financial information.

^they should send you an email stating your financial aid info has been processed with a link.

I had many choices too – NYU, Wisconsin, UBC, University of Toronto and Queen’s University in Canada, Fordham, New College of Florida-- but for me it came down to UCLA vs USC. And I finally committed to UCLA in large part because I felt it would have a more diverse and academic-minded student body and a stronger international reputation. I have been in private schools since I was four and felt it important to move out of the socio-economic “bubble” I have been in. My one worry about UCLA is state funding – but I finally reasoned that California would in the end realise that schools like UCLA and Berkeley represent the state’s future and will find a way to fund them.

Sorry – I see from an earlier post that, if accepted, we are asked to list our GPA etc.
