Acceptances

hey everyone,

I got my acceptance about a month ago. I am probably going to go here. Has anyone else heard anything or know anything about the university that is important (dorms, classes, etc)

A Dean of the School and 2 students were recently killed.

I think the murder was not a Towson faculty member. Found this on google: http://www.jrrobertssecurity.com/security-news/security-crime-news0039.htm

THe victim was the dean of St. Paul's high school near Baltimore and the shooting occurred at the Towson Mall, a shopping center.

I don't know much about the class or anything, but Towson is a wonderful suburb of Baltimore. I've been there a lot of times and it's a college town. Lots of stores and places to hang out.

no not the shooting; a girl was found strangled in her apartment and a boy was shot on campus a year ago

I've lived and worked in the Towson area for 4 years and actually just started a photography business here (http://www.zerotopia.com).

It's a pretty safe community and a nice place to live. I cannot comment on T.U. academics, as I did not attend (though I am considering taking classes), but I can safely recommend the Towson area.

Sincerely,

Zero Dean

The girl was a Johns Hopkins student.

both students that were killed were students at Johns Hopkins and were near Hopkins' campus, about 10-15 min south of Towson.

the "professor" that was killed was a faculty member at the St. Paul's School up the road a bit - he was killed in the Towson Town Mall parking lot.

i am a senior political science major at towson, let me know if you have any questions about towson or the area.
