I got in!!! Letter was postmarked March 24th. MSB

Congratulations! Do you think you're going to attend? Where do you live, if you don't mind my asking?

I live in the DC suburbs in Virginia. Not sure if I will go, but I really like the school.

Good luck! I hope everyone else here will be pleasantly surprised soon!

wow, congratulations. you got the mail quite fast.

I think I'm going to go sit in front of my mailbox...it probably won't get to Philly until tomorrow but maybe the mailmen felt like working extra hard in the past 24 hours and it will be here today!

omg that means my mail will be here 2mrw!!! eeeeeep

Me too babybird...we're from the original deferred crew! I hope there's good news for both of us. Andrew, if you don't mind me asking, what were your stats? I applied to MSB as well.

1480, 3.9gpa, eagle scout, active in a fair number of organizations and sports. If I recall correctly I wrote my essays, or at least one of them, about my interest in economics.

Thanks! Congrats and I hope I get in too!

Congrats!!!!!!
Is it a big envelope or just a regular sized one?

oh yeah, kiki-- definitely hope good news for us deferreds. alita should have heard today, too, hope she got in.

andrew, yeah, we all want to know-- big or small envelope??

I got stuck on the waiting list : ( I think i'd rather have just been outright rejected cause now I just dont know what to do. They said they'd mail out final decisions by May 15th, but uhh, who the heck is gonna wait until may 15th when you have to reply back to colleges by May 1st??

I got waitlisted at Boston College today, I will not be able to take this devastation if i am waitlisted or rejected at Georgetown. Was the envelope small or big? Good luck everyone.

The envelope is regular sized, but it has a little heft and width as there are (hopefully) several sheets of paper.

I'm so jealous. I checked the mail, and there was nothing but bills. I guess because I live all the way in Texas. Congrats to all who find out today!

asdf, usually, when you're on the waitlist, you can accept a place at another school, but then if you get into the other school and that's where you want to go, you can withdraw your place. Sometimes you also get the deposit back. One of my friends from HS didn't hear from this BA-MD program, and accepted a place at Cornell and sent the deposit, but she got into the BA-MD program, and withdrew from Cornell. So don't worry! Send in a letter of continued interest later on, as well as any new developments in your academic/EC life. Don't give up hope!

Bah to us Californians who still have to wait until Monday. :(

Good luck deferee-EA crew and the regular RD crew!

Hoya Saxa!

no letter today in southern PA. better be here tom

there was also no letter in MD..for me atleast

well i just received my letter from georgetown....i had a feeling it wouldn't be good, as i was deferred in december. there was just one sheet of paper in the envelope...

to be honest, i loved georgetown in november, but since december my love has slowly declined. it always felt tainted by the fact that i was deferred. to those of you out there who were deferred, maybe the results will be different for you.

ironically, i just got $5,000 from the university of maryland for all four years. it's my state school so maybe that will be a better choice.

good luck for all of you out there!
