Acceptances

Today I got my acceptance letter in the mail for Computer Science.

Guess its time to be on the look out for those letters.

Yeah, I'm very close to RIT, so I got my letter yesterday (with the snow, I just skipped going to the mailbox, and I found out today). It's a large white envelope with black and orange striping at the top, can't miss it. "Congratulations" was just below my address in the mailing window.

I applied RD, so I was REALLY surprised to get it this early...happy though :)

i got my acceptance 2 days ago, i live about 15min from campus.
i was suprised to get it so early too.

I live a very large distance from campus just to give people an idea of the radius. I live half way down the east coast.

I too got my acceptance letter on the 22nd. RIT is the only school that I applied to that sends out decisions before April 1st, so I was glad to finally see one.

Are the early notifications due to the president's scholarship? I got notification of that the next day. I know some of my friends are still waiting for their decisions.

Maybe. I got my letter about the President's Scholarship yesterday. I feel like they would have sent them together if they were only sending out decisions to those who received them. I was originally told 4-6 weeks from January 8th, after I submitted my app at the end of December. It's been just a little over 6 weeks, so I would assume the other decisions will be mailed soon, if they aren't already out there,

me too got Presidential Scholarship. How much is the fees and how much does the scholarship really help?

AskMe02 - Check out their website for estimated cost of attendance
RIT - Office of Financial Aid - Cost of Attendance Estimates

I got the presidential scholarship the next day as well. The early notification might indicate that RIT is sending it out early to very qualified students (compared to the average accepted)

i also received the presidential scholarship shortly after i received my acceptance letter

congratulations to all of you, i live right by RIT and everyone i know who goes there loves it.
