Were any of you who were accepted able to check the enrollment deposit button on the admissions status page?

Have all the acceptances been recieved already? Have people been rejected yet? I'm still waiting to hear back, I don't know what to think.

My daughter and her friend were both waitlisted today.

I don't think there's any rhyme or reason to who got letters. I got a letter today but I was rejected, so it looks like there's no way to know. I can tell you that mine came in a very regular sized envelope, which I've started to take as a bad sign haha. Normal size is never good. I'm crossing my fingers for you vickycampa.

My son was waitlisted. His friend was rejected.

daughter was waitlisted. Letter came yesterday.

Son had a friend (girl) accepted for MT and a friend (girl)waitlisted. Also a friend (girl) accepted for the Drama dept (not MT)

Anyone still waiting?

Mom4X, all the kids I know who applied to Emerson have received a decision. If your D hasn’t in the next day or so, you might want to check on it.

Hi everyone,
Emerson Admissions recently released a statement saying that they sent their notification letters out a lot earlier than they thought they would! 2 Points for them! One of the things they stated is that if you haven’t heard by April 1st, you should call the office and let them know. Give it one or two more days if you haven’t heard and then let them know you are still waiting.
I know students who are still receiving acceptances, so know that they didn’t send out a wave of acceptances and then a wave of rejections.

Good luck to all still waiting!

Let’s hope this did not happen to a batch of letters, but my D got hers today stamped
‘Received unsealed at general mail facility Boston, MA 02205.’ The envelope was empty but we know it was a WL. Know of several others on the wait list. Some put down a second major, my D did not, so presume her WL is for MT. Another girl put down a second major so is not sure what she is wait listed for. Really odd statistics listed in the FAQ page. 2005 - no one pulled off the wait list; 2006=10;2007=4; 2008=228!!! Obviously they mean for the entire school, not just MT, but sounds like someone last year did not do their job well! Either they were overly cautious in acceptances, or somehow they got a bum rap and everyone turned them down. Interesting to see how the 2008 WL number will have affected this year’s acceptances.
