I read that today was the first day they would be releasing admittances to CU. Has anyone heard anything?

They’re starting with August 1st applications. I submitted mine mid October? So I’m anxious and nervous and a bit impatient haha. Good luck to everyone!

I got accepted! Now I just hope i can get some scholarship $!

when did you submit your application?

one of my friends JUST got accepted yesterday and she applied back in August. I have a feeling that those of us who applied later are going to be waiting a while. :(

I submitted in early November

When I called a few days ago they said they were reviewing October applications.
@hiimleila was it an update on her MyCUBoulder or her letter? I have a feeling the letters take longer to get to the person…

She got an acceptance letter in the mail… in fact, she never got a MyCUBoulder account password. I haven’t gotten one yet either (I applied about a month ago), so I don’t know whether to be concerned or not.

I think you’re suppose to sign up for one using the email address you used in your application and then they’ll sync up at some point.

i applied in october and still havent heard anything.

applied mid-october and I heard back on December 20 (accepted!!) Does anyone know anything about scholarships?

Congrats nmvm007! What school did you get into?

did you find out about your acceptance by mail or the portal.

when was the RD deadline?

i got the chancellors scholarship for 15,000 over four years, but i need to get more than that to afford it so hopefully i can get a few more scholarships

^ Congrats and to Emerica: I got into the College of Arts and Sciences for physics or geology. I have to declare physics or geology as major entering freshman year in order to be eligible for a major in geophysics or engineering physics.

i got accepted today as a psych major and i applied on the very last day possible about one hour before the deadline.
good luck to everyone else!

Can anyone recommend the best residence halls to stay in at CU Boulder? My son will probably be attending there, and I was just wondering which residence halls were the best. He will be an engineering major but I know he does not want to reside in the engineering residence hall as he says being with only engineering types would be boring! So please don’t suggest that! I am sure he would like a hall that is close to everything, not too much of a party place, etc. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

My D lived in Sewall and enjoyed it. Good location on campus, convenient to the Hill and Pearl St, cool-looking building, brand new dining hall. Even has singles (for additional $). Popular place, so you need to send deposit early.

I just applied on Jan 11th, the deadline is the 15th. Does applying this close to the deadline hurt my chances at all?
