Good for you MM. I think D and I are going back to Shenandoah during her spring breack for a final look before she decides.

Thank you! :-D

Oh gosh… it’s such a wonderful school… where else was she accepted? I hope she finds the perfect school :-)

The dance instructors at my dance audition were very good… they worked us hard ( I mean, I’m doing MT, but still ha ha) I imagine that the training that the dance students get is probably pretty hardcore :-)… it was deffinently the most fun i had in a dance audition, AND the most challenging dance audition that I had, and I think that says something about the program— that they really care about dance for the students and that they want the students to have fun while they are dancing WHILE being serious about it at the same time.

I’m sure you’re D will have an amazing education wherever she ends up going :-)

Oh wow! I read that she got into Point Park as well! That’s a tough decision… Point Park is such a great school for dance… There is a professional dance company near me( Dayton Contemporary Dance Company), and a lot of the dancers there are from Point Park.

MM thank you for your congratualtions. My D had a very succesful audition season, she was accepted to all the programs she auditioned for, so she does have some hard decisions ahead. We are in Cincinnati - she is at the MTV school as a periodic character. I am sure you will find the right spot for you. D opted to not do the MT route but choose schools where dance majors could audition for MT also.

Congrats to everyone that’s been accepted so far! I was accepted into the MT program back in February but am just now posting on CC for the first time, lol! I actually auditioned on Jan 16th too!
Good luck everyone!

Frolicking— were we in the same audition group? Dance first, then vocal/monologue? I was the short curly blonde haired girl in black and white with the 4 inch heals ha ha. Super super congrats on making it in! Think you’ll attend Shenandoah for sure?

No problem, keepingcalm! WOW! She got accepted everywhere she auditioned? that’s pretty incredible! Thank you I live by dayton, so were practically neighbors ha ha :-)
