Caltech has the most unholistic way of looking at applicants.</p>
<p>2400 SAT = CalTech admit. Pretty unholistic.</p>
<p><800 on SAT Math and you’re rejected. Even more unholistic.</p>
<p>This is the reason that I wish Amherst gave out its decisions AFTER my board exams are over. I don’t want to get all sad at a rejection and be all ‘signs of things to come?’ and then ruin my last board exam.</p>
