Cool! Congrats!
Same here. I don’t require FA. :D

A sign of good things :stuck_out_tongue: Caltech has the most unholistic way of looking at applicants.

2400 SAT = CalTech admit. Pretty unholistic.

<800 on SAT Math and you’re rejected. Even more unholistic.

This is the reason that I wish Amherst gave out its decisions AFTER my board exams are over. I don’t want to get all sad at a rejection and be all ‘signs of things to come?’ and then ruin my last board exam.

Rejected from MIT too.

rejected
WHEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeee

MIT - rejected
CalTech - wait listed (polite form of rejection :))

No problem. Move on …

Rice, Reed, HMC, Harvard, Brown, UChicago and some safeties remaining.

MIT Rejected

Actually Whollyglib, waitlisting is not at all a polite form of rejection! You still have quite a chance of making it to Caltech, although of course, that all depends on how many people take their spots at Caltech this year!

MIT=Rejected…

Anyone knows when Cornell gives out decisions?

Accepted by MIT, Columbia (likely letter).

meghna - I knowwwwww. Getting rejected by Amherst will destroy me. I’m actually planning not to check till the 29th (my last exam). Way to spoil the end of ISC, haha.

Congratulations somewhereibelong! Nice to see an Indian accepted at MIT. I was rejected.

Oh, when is Amherst out? I thought it was April 1 :S

Mit :d :d :d

congrats :)

Thanks gary :)

esconie, I tip my hat to you. You are one of a kind. I saw your old post - enough said. Congrats!

@ TippuSultan

Thanks! But that’s much more than I deserve lol, there ARE many many awe-inspiringly amazing applicants (alliteration!) out there, what I’ve done really doesn’t rate in comparision…
