got a 23 on the ACT which i guess was not good enough for fall

JT, were any of your ACT sub-scores, like on math or reading, less than 19? Maybe USF wants certain minimum sub-scores? If you were deferred you are still in the game.

NapalmDoughnut, how did you come up with your name? Napalm is nasty, nasty stuff.

Lizard:
Have you ever watched any Neurotically Yours videos?
The cast includes Foamy the Squirrel, if that name sounds any more familiar to you.
In one rant I found particularly hilarious, (“Cow-Mouflage”) he says something about passing out napalm doughnuts in his neighborhood and then throws one into the background of the camera shot.

^^^ Okay, I found the cartoon!

Lizard:
I find Foamy to be pretty hilarious. I’m actually planning on getting some animation software and using it as an outlet… If I’m ever angry, rant about it, make the audio sound like a chipmunk, slap it on an animated animal, done. Haha.

My ACT scores were received yesterday, so now it’s time to play the waiting game…

yea my ACT math was a 17 so taking it on dec. 12th hoping to bring it up

Good luck, JT.

ACCEPTED!

(490 reading, 590 math, 530 writing, 4.04 w gpa, 3.62 unw gpa)…just found out this afternoon while i was in school…however UCF is my top choice, I was deferred so taking the SAT tomorrow to try to get in

what is the best scholarship they offer? They have more than 1 campus, what is nicer?

Congrats, Seabreeze!

Collegesgirl, they have a web page that charts out a lot of their scholarships, and a scholarship finder, too.
Here’s the scholarship finder: [Scholarships - Scholarships Search For Undergraduate Scholarships and Graduate Scholarships Information](http://usfweb2.usf.edu/finaid/scholarships/)
And the listing of scholarships: [Financial Aid Programs At-A-Glance](http://usfweb2.usf.edu/finaid/at_a_glance.asp)

Be sure you use both, because the chart doesn’t have all of the scholarships available; some are specific to major.

thanks taking the ACT this sat so hopefully score goes up.

JT, good luck with your test Sat. Try to get all sub-scores up to at least 19–USF superscores so concentrate on the sections you want to pullup scores to 19 or better.

List your stats people !

Has anybody head back that is In-State yet? I applied in state, but everyone out of state has heard back already

lalalalaayoo- i got accepted to USF around last month and i am in-state too…when did u apply? or you should call them…

i got accepted here and to FSU

napalmdoughnut, any updates on admissions?

I didn’t even apply since you can tell whether you got in or not just by looking at FACTS.org. They keep sending me stuff and they offered my $36,000 though. That’s more than I’ll need since I’ll have pell grant, first gen grant, bright futures, etc…

I’d love it if I didn’t already get accepted into FSU.

Dyme:
I got deferred because my grades took a nosedive last year [Think from A’s to D’s in my English and math classes]. Disappointing, but my grades are excellent now so I’m pretty sure that I’ll get accepted after I send in my first-term grades.
