I'm wondering if anyone has been accepted via ea or has applied ea? Also, if you would, let us know about merit scholarship experience.

My D is a hs jr and very interested in Goucher. We will visit there in early April. I'd like to get some idea for next year from this year's experience.

I was accepted in December (maybe the 27?) and received 15k in merit aid (Global Citizens Scholarship). I got my application in mid- October. I love the school and the cross country coach, so it'll be hard if I decide to turn them down. I don't know what I'm going to do yet!

Sure... they're all totally different though. I want a broad range of choices when it comes to college decision time! I applied to Northeastern's Pharmacy program (got in, not sure if I want to major in Pharmacy), URI Pharmacy (I got in), Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Wellesley, and American University. If money was not an issue I would have applied to Haverford and Tufts.

I recieved my acceptance letter several weeks ago and in it there was what it said was an estimate of merit scholarships I should be recieving. When should I find out for sure what type of merit aid I am recieving for sure?

If you've never been to the school and are seriously considering attending, you should try to visit (assuming the trip there is finacially feasible and you have time). What's your major going to be?

I was accepted, but i consider it safety, with a Global Citizen's scholarship, if my first choices don't come through i still consider Goucher to be a pretty decent candidate...

I checked the loans page and it says nothing. The thing is that I was told in my acceptance letter that I should get atleast the second highest scholarship so I assume I will atleast get something. It is possible that the scholarships are just not online yet? Has anyone else checked the fasts website?
