I recently accepted admission to Galveston, but really want to get into A&M College Station.
Is there anyone that has accepted admission to Galveston that has also been admitted to A&M?
I am worried that by accepting admission to Galveston that A&M College Station will no longer consider my application.

I don’t believe you’re supposed to accept the admission offer if you haven’t fully committed. Have you tried calling admissions?

Yeah i think they no longer consider you because you accepted admission. Accepting admission is saying you will go there.

I disagree with the above comments. From previous conversations with the Prospective Student Center and other TAMU staff, they encourage folks to apply to TAMUG as a back-up. When in doubt, call TAMU and find out from the experts.

Yes, they encourage you to apply to TAMUG as a back-up, but street6 accepted his admission to TAMUG. That is saying you will attend.
You do need to call A&M admissions on this one - I don’t think any of us are capeable of knowing the answer to this question.

I agree, you need to call and talk with an admission counselor at TAMU. My son sat on his TAMUG acceptance and did not do anything until he heard from College Station. He was admitted to TAMU. Last week.

Got accepted into College Station!!! Yea!

Street6, when? Your Stats? And Congrats!

Congratulations Street6

Congratulations!!!

Congratulations
