Accepted Applicants, Please help.

Please go to USC Connect and then to admission--->admission documents--->document library. Do you see an option titled "Appeal of Admission decision"?

My friend is intimating that the presence of this option is an indication of rejection, and I just want to see if accepted applicants have it too (if they do, obviously his theory is disproven).

@Ahmer50

Thanks for this thread. I, too, am wondering the same thing.

I haven’t received my decision yet but I can’t even access those boxes :frowning: I still keep getting the error messages. Is this bad news?

Ahmer50, I got rejected earlier today. You should be alright. When I click on admission and then admission documents, I just get this:

“The system is experiencing a technical issue, this function is temporarily unavailable. Please try again or contact us.
Error code:IS1”

just wondering, was the rejection letter in a big yellow envelop as well?

Hi devry, the rejection letter comes in a regular standard white envelope. It has the USC logo in the upper left hand corner and there’s the letter in it and an FAQ page… Good luck! I was a bit disappointed to see it, but I’m sure there was a reason for it.

I see the “Appeal of Admission decision” also…does it really mean something??

I think this has been there all along… Right?

I too believe that this option appears in everyone’s “Documents” tab. Could any admitted students confirm this?

I have been accepted yet still have “Appeal of Admission decision” in the “Document Library” tab.

Ive been accepted and I have the appeal button. Everyone stop worrying!

I have the appeal button and I was accepted as well. No need to worry

I hope you all get accepted but if you do not, there is the appeal option. I am a USC student and I know a ton of people who got rejected originally but appealed and were accepted. If you want any advice on appealing and so forth, feel free to shoot me a message.
