Accepted awards for NMF

Hopefully, I can get this started since the awards are starting to come in.

DD received the Presidential Scholar designation from The University of Tulsa yesterday. Full tuition, room, and board! Tulsa was her first choice and the place she really wanted to go. We are so happy for her.

That’s awesome. Congrats!

Awesome!

I got one of 5 of the NAF awards (10 for NMF) from FSU for $24k over four years (money comes to you, not the school :).

Congrats to you both. It has been an exciting time since learning our son was a NMF. He has been accepted and is looking at three schools: Rose Hulman, Baylor and University of Tulsa. After a great NMF offer from Baylor it looks like our son’s first choice is going to work out. He just learned he was named a Presidential Scholar ( full ride) at University of Tulsa. They did a great job of recruiting him and it was his first choice due to one of their nationally ranked programs. We are so excited that he won the award due to the fact that Tulsa dropped the number of scholarships this year dramatically while they widened the pool of qualified applicants.
Good luck to the rest of you.

Got a full tuition NMF scholarship at Northeastern University!

I’m still debating on whether or not to use it- I might get some good money at some other places, so I’ll see.

congrats! Where else did you apply? Did you apply to any other schools that give big scholarships to NMFs?

Congrats to everyone who’s gotten scholarships!!! So I take it none of the NM $2500 awards or whatever have come yet?

I just received my half-tuition letter from USC!!! Congrats to everyone else who recieved scholarships :)))

On the verge of accepting the UCF offer of about $10,000+ per year.

^^^

Did UCF change its NMF scholarship? Didn’t it used to include tuition and housing? Or is that what you’re talking about?

That’s what I’m talking about.

It is $10,000 that you really use for pretty much anything. So Bright Futures + NMF fully covers tuition, room, and board.
