AAAH! I'm freaking out a little bit right now.
I just received a letter from USC saying that they didn't receive my transcripts from classes taken at a local community college and a Cal State.

The Cal State class is a dual-enrollment Calculus class. I unfortunately received a C my first semester.

Also, I received a B and an A in my community college classes. I took them for no reason really, except for my interest in the subjects (Psych and Sociology).

And one more question (I apologize for taking your time), I'm probably receiving another C in calculus this semester. =[ I won't be using it for college credit, yet I want to know whether I could get rescinded with:

(these grades are DEFINITELY a big drop from before)

calc - C
english - B
AP physics - B
chem - B
AP gov - B
Chorus - A

I am assuming the rest of these classes are taken at high school? The Calculus, Psych and sociology are the only ones not taken at your high school? If you are still enrolled in high school I would go meet with your high school counselor on Monday. Please get his or her advice. Perhaps your counselor could call USC admissions and explain the situation for you. I have always believed that it is better to be upfront with these issues. By the way, is the Calculus grade of C a big drop from your usual math grades?

Yes, only calc, sociology, and psych were not high school courses.

I did report my calculus grade on their mid-year report form.
However, I never actually sent in the official transcript. I’m hoping that since they’ve already seen the actual grade, it shouldn’t affect me too much. And yes, I’ve never received a C in math, or any other subject for that matter.
