Accepted but no financial aid info yet

<p>Hi all.</p>

<p>My S was accepted last night (3/26) into Communication and Rhetorical Studies. :) He's psyched but we still haven't had the financial aid award posted in myslice. When can we expect to see that? It obviously plays a huge role.</p>

<p>His overview:
SAT Reading 620 Math 660 Writing 610
GPA 3.0, weighted around 3.2
Great essay
Ranked right in the middle of HS class
Middle School mentoring program
Varsity basketball player
Had local interview with admissions</p>

<p>1st choice was Newhouse, 2nd Arts & Sciences - Secondary Education, 3rd Arts & Sciences - English Studies</p>

<p>I'm wondering how they look at 3 choices. The admission letter only mentioned the 1st choice and placing him into an alternative program. Does that mean they didn't consider choice 2 and 3? What are the chances of switching to Secondary Education before the Fall and/or transferring in?</p>

SU
Drexel
St. Bonaventure - great financial aid package
UNH
U Maine
UMass-Amherst</p>

<p>Waitlisted:
UVM - this was hard as it was first choice</p>

<p>Rejected:
UConn
Northeastern</p>

<p>Any thoughts and advice are welcome. I have learned so much from reading this forum.</p>

<p>How would/could he transfer int College of Human Ecology - Sports Management? Does anyone have experience of knowledge of being accepted into that or transferring?</p>

<p>The financial aid packet is available online. Go to myslice on the Syracuse websie with your logon and dpassword and it is on there. It was actually there before the acceptance came for my D</p>

<p>Yeah, that’s just it. I have read where others had it there before acceptance and others who it showed up the next day. We were just on myslice and nothing there. And no tasks to complete.</p>
