Accepted! But not for Regents/CHP?

Hello everyone. I just found out today that I have been admitted to Irvine! I logged into my portal and checked in the admissions section and says I have been admitted, but does not mention the Honors program or Regents Scholarship. Does that mean I did not qualify for them? Just confused about the process. Thanks!

My main stats are 4.5 GPA, 2020 SAT, solid ECs and essays in case that helps with my question.

I’d assume so, in view of the fact that Honors Experience Day (for CHP students) was last weekend and it’s been said that Regents Scholars are chosen from the CHP pool (though this hasn’t been confirmed to my knowledge.)

Nevertheless, congratulations on your acceptance!

Where regents scholarships already announced?

What do you mean you checked the admissions section? Won’t it just tell you on the portal once you login?

Darn that’s too bad, oh well. Hopefully I can get scholarship money elsewhere and try to reapply into the honors program as a freshman/sophomore if possible…and if I end up going to Irvine!

@NDD101 for some reason my layout on my portal doesn’t. I’m not sure if that is the case for everyone else. On the left hand side, there was a small box labeled admissions or something, and under it stated “status:posted”. Had to click on that to open the admissions result page

that emoticon is supposed to be a : then the letter P hahaha

Matthew, the scholarship money is $2,500, so it’s really not that much. Plus, you can always apply for CHP once you get to Irvine. Best wishes.
