Accepted, but not into Isenberg

I was accepted into umass, but didn't get accepted into Isenberg for accounting for fall of 2012 as a freshman. What hurdles will I have to jump to get into this college? Would it be a better idea to go to another college where I got accepted into accounting instead?

From what I know it’s not that easy to get into Isenberg as an internal transfer.

I’d recommend you contact the school directly to see what the requirements are and what you odds would be, I don’t think they publish specific information.

If you don’t get in then you will have to transfer to another school, so it might make sense to go where you are already accepting into accounting.

Where else did you get in?

Ok, I found this:

sorry this is a little delayed but i was in the same position as your were and i wrote a really persuasive email to the head of the department that I was trying to get into (Sports Management) and he said he would see what he could do. 2 days later I got an email saying I was transferred in. If I were you I’d do the same. Write a letter to the head of the department you want to get into

what is your gpa and sat score?
