OK still trying to figure out the sequence. Seems to be no ryhme or reason by major. Assuming they are doing it by last name how far down in the alphabet are we?

I have heard C. Please list date accepted and first letter of last name.

Thank you very much for participating.

Daughter accepted on 2/22, first letter of last name is A.

Thank you COparent

I was 2/22 last name W

My friend got accepted and her last name started with a P.

Friends of mine had last names starting with S, P, J, W, R, and another with S. Their acceptances were released about a week go when the first ones started rolling out.

Sent from my MB855 using CC

last name initial - V
major - comp sci

It is not by alpha order. They assign everyone a numerical score based on their gpa/sat/act then those at the very top of the range they pretty much auto accept. Those that are not at the very top of the range are reviewed individually to consider all factors reported on the application. And those factors vary by major and by number of applications etc. Date you applied makes no difference either.

its possible there is no particular criteria for releasing the decisions other than posting them as they are admitted or wait listed. the only thing that seems certain is they are holding off on posting the declines.
