Essay: Very GOOD! It actually made my friend tear up a little and one of the colleges I have been accepted into actually discussed how great it was. It was definitely the strongest and best part of my application. I can't stress how important the essay is, especially those with lower SAT scores. The Essay is where you can prove what type of individual and student you are, regardless of numbers.

Recommendations:
One from my Cross-Country Coach/History Teacher who wrote me an excellent recommendation.
One from my French I-III Teacher who now lectures at UPenn. She wrote me a decent recommendation about how I would be a great fit for the United Nations.
One from my Editor-in-Chief. Haven't seen it but I suppose it is very good.
Guidance Counselor commented in her recommendation how I have taken the most rigorous schedule out of all the students in my class since the ninth grade.

I have no AP scores, no IB diploma, but I think it was ultimately my essay that saved me and I am so ecstatic that I have been accepted into the Binghamton Class of 2018. Just waiting to hear from some of the top 20 universities I applied to before I make any decisions. Really considering Binghamton and its beautiful campus!
