Accepted, Denied, Waitlisted HS class of 2009

<p>To get a better picture of each person's decision why doesn't everyone post their stats, because i am extremely nervous bout ithaca admissions.</p>

<p>My Info:
HS: 16th best public high school in MA.</p>

<p>SAT:
Math: 660
CR: 560
Writing: 570</p>

<p>GPA:3.2
Includes a total of 6 honors classes throughout HS and an AP. Im taking an extremely tough senior year that has 3 honors courses (included in the 6) and AP microeconomics. In addition my GPA and grades have been on an upward trend since junior year. I have also taken every business class offered at my high school and have never taken a blow-off course.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars: I have over 130 hours of community service including a project i planned and successfully completed myself in which i had 90 hours by myself and 300 hours including the volunteers. I am in boy scouts, I play soccer, ski team, and outdoor track and field, all for 4 years. In addition i have done academic decathlon one year and track decathlon one year. I also did marching band for one year</p>

<p>Jobs:
I have worked 10 hours a week or more, every week since entering high school, while holding acouple different jobs in restaurants.</p>

<p>Did you hear about the merit money in your acceptance letter or in a seperate letter?</p>

<p>Mine was all in one packet.
Did everyone else get the brochure with student's holding up letter's that spell out "You're in!" or something to that effect?
Anyone else thing they should also send the same picture spelling out, "You're rejected?"
I know that sounds heartless, but I think I would laugh while getting rejected that way.</p>
