Accepted EA Students...Are you applying anywhere else?

Hey Gtown EA accepted students....where do you think you will end up? As of now, I'm waiting to hear back from Notre Dame and BC, but I would most likely end up picking gtown over them. I'm applying to Dartmouth and that is my first choice but it is somewhat of a reach for me, but I'd be THRILLED to attend gtown. So where is everyone else applying and where do you think you'll end up going come next year?

I applied to University of Chicago early action, Clemson (parents wanted at least 1 instate school), and Stanford. Also working on my Brown application. I'm not sure where I'd go if I got into Brown and Stanford too. That'd be a tough choice.

I'm done...I just found out I got into BC as well early, but Georgetown is where I wanna go.

georgetown man... thats where its at!
besides, after all that hard work to get in, i cant say no.

I applied all over the place, because I had no idea who would accept me, Georgetown's been the first choice, besides there I applied to Notre Dame (deferred), UniChicago, Macalester, UniPacific, Duke, Yale, UW Madison, NYU and American.

Notre Dame because it was where I wanted to go when I was young, and my parents were like "Your grandpa would've wanted you there." NYU because I wanted to apply to a school in New York and they've got a really cool Irish Studies minor, UW Madison because they wanted a state school. Maclester and UniPacific because they have good/interesting IR programs, American as a substitute for G-Town, Yale because my mom "thought it would be fun" and Duke because of the Robertson's Scholars Program.

Needless to say I love the common app, made things so much easier. I like options, and I guess that's why I applied to so many schools, the original list was longer(!) but I'm so happy that Georgetown accepted me, because it's where I wanna be. When I visited, I got chills up my spine in 90* weather. I'll be going to GTown, unless I'm awarded the Robertson's Scholar Program (full ride).

Applied EA to BC also... and also applied for this creative writing scholarship at Chapel Hill (if I win it, full 4-yr scholarship...), and also Yale and Duke. Unless I get into Yale (unlikely lol) or maybe get that scholarship, georgetown is where I'll be. it's definitely up there on my choices. I know i'd be sooo happy there.

I had already sent my Common App/paid application fees/mailed forms, and I'm not going to waste the opportunity for other options.

(Or trophies ^_^)

Just heard back from Notre Dame on today as well along with Georgetown =] haha definitely a good day for acceptance letters!! LONG list of schools that I've already applied to so..can't do anything about it now, but Georgetown's definitely on top of my list =]!

AJ..I applied EA to ND and BC too
i also did dartmouth, uva, cornell, duke, williams RD

I'm waiting to hear back from Notre Dame and Villanova EA. I already got into Georgetown, UGA, and Georgia Tech EA. I'm applying to Penn, Wake Forest, Duke, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, and Rhodes RD. I want to finish all my RD apps so I can keep my options open in case I change my mind in the spring, but it's going to be hard knowing that I could go to Georgetown without doing so much more work.

I'm applying to Columbia, NYU, BU, Hopkins, Yale and Wellesley as well - but nothing seems to matter as much now that I got in! But, Columbia has always been my first-choice. I guess we'll see...
It's going to be hard focusing on finals next week! :)

applied EA also to BC, UChicago, Notre Dame, and Villanova

waiting on all of those decisions still

but as Georgetown came and Georgetown is my first choice, I am going to Georgetown!

I'm applying to Penn, George Washington, Tufts, Claremont McKenna, UCLA, UCSD, and UCD. As long as I get enough money from gtown/scholarship organizations then that's where I'm going.

I've applied to UChicago (also early action), Johns Hopkins, Claremont McKenna, Pomona, Harvard, Stanford, Amherst, Penn State, Schreyer Honors College at Penn State, and the University of Pittsburgh. I've already heard back from Georgetown, Penn State, and UPitt. Georgetown is, if not my top choice, then at least in the top two with UChicago. I've made the decision to wait until April, but it's quite likely, I think, that I will end up at Georgetown.

Apped to BC, Villanova, UNC and Gtown. I have only heard from Gtown but of those four I like Gtown most by far. I will still app to UVA, Duke, and Brown I think and then see from there. I will most likely go to Gtown in the end..... I think.

GO HOYAS!

yes, i strongly advise that you go to georgetown

I got in, and Gtown is my absolute dream school...I'm hearing from BC and Notre Dame tomorrow and some other schools like Duke and Tufts RD. I will go to gtown as long as they do meet 100% financial need...do they?

They meet 100% need, but loans count as meeting that need.

you know whats funny is that we all like apply/applied to almost the same schools... god, we are so crazy awesome, must be why we got in ;)

Applied to Berkeley, Stanford, USC
Applying to Brown, Princeton, UPenn, Johns Hopkins, Duke, Northwestern, UChicago, MIT
