So I just got an email from Fordham saying I've been accepted. Does this mean I have a good chance of getting a substantial amount of aid?

My D just received the same email and wondering the same thing. It is her first choice but money is a factor.

I just got an email too!! Congrats guys
I think there’s a pretty good chance of merit aid if they want us enough to send us an email a month early. I know they give a lot to National Merit Scholars, so if you are one, then maybe take that into consideration?
Are you guys going to use the SAS to fill out the aid form?

Congrats to both of you! Yes I’m probably going to use SAS although I want to find out more about it. I’m not a NMSF so I wouldn’t get that award but substantial financial aid would make Fordham a serious choice for me.

Did you folks submit well in advance of the deadline or did you get an acceptance less than a week after applying?

Application was submitted last week.

My daughter also got an email today and Fordham is her first choice school! We are ecstatic! And the application was submitted 10/21. Congratulations future Rams!

Our son got into Fordham too! Congratulations to all. Not sure if we will use SAS, but will tackle the FAFSA this weekend.

Congratulations to you all!!

Futboldad two weeks I think they got everything on 10/22.
Leftylou thanks!

Is there a downside to using SAS?

Congratulations to everyone! I’ll be looking out for mine (:

Congrats…when did you guys who got accepted apply?

Got the email yesterday but I didn’t open it till today, because I wasn’t expecting a decision so early!! This is my first acceptance and I am so excited! It’s not really my first choice but still it’s nice to know

Daughter got the email last night. We would need a lot of $ assistance for her to attend D lives in Southern California. Does anyone know anything about SAS for the fafsa?

If you don’t mind me asking, what were your stats? (This question is aimed towards anyone in general )

3.85 unweighted gpa 28 act and 1860 sat

Got my acceptance last night too!

e10n20n, my stats are: 4.3 WGPA; 35 ACT; NMSF; AP Scholar with Distinction.

SAS is only taking your information and inputting into FASFA expediting your submission. Don’t think there was any downfall.

Your bigger concern will be completing the CSS Profile. It is worse then being audited by the IRS.

Congrats & Good Luck

Appeal your Aid Package when you get it!!!

Any who were accepted apply to Gabelli, RH? Curious if certain colleges are sending out with acceptances before others.
