I made the $400 deposit before break and emailed them the form and receipt, but never got anything to confirm that they received it. Is this normal? Anyone ever got a confirmation of some sort? Do I need to call the admission office or simply assume they got it? Thanks!

just assume they got it, don’t worry
if you are that stressed over it, just send an email to admissions
I can’t believe they ever gave away a spot without sending someone a reminder to send in a deposit.
chill

all right. thanks

I think that if they have received your deposit, your Cornell Admissions Self-Service accounts will have few more tabs on the left hand side. One of them is the info for new students. Oh, and I called them 2 weeks ago regarding the confirmation e-mail and they said that Cornell will not send any confirmation e-mail when the deposit is received.

So, just check your admissions account. If new tabs appear, then your deposit is received.

Just to add onto what lockheed311 said, the admissions office informed me that Cornell will not send any e-mails until the end of March when the Regular Decision applicants get informed of their acceptances and receive information from Cornell so don’t worry if you’ dont get a confirmation mail/etc.

got it. I do see the “new student” table now. Thanks!
