<p>ahh, you're one of those Long Island bands.... ya know, we upstate people think you're judging is bogus :p haha, just kidding. That's cool... We were in a different organization, we played in NYSFBC the past few years, but we're changing this year, so we may see you're school.... Did you play snare, tenors, bass, or cymbals? I was bass first year, then snare sophomore, drum major this year and next.</p>
<p>i played bass my freshmen year and then tenors the last 3. we were in nysfbc this year but we sucked. we had a new band director who had know idea about anything and wouldnt let those of us who did kno run things the way they should have been</p>
<p>oh... yeah, that always sucks when the people in charge have no clue. Hopefully you stick with band in college! I don't think they do the competitions either, but, I'm sure it would be a good experience.</p>
