Hey everybody! Ok so I sent in my papers and everything ummmm September 6th? ish? so it was a surprisingly fast turn around because I had a lot of miscellaneous transcripts from other schools that I’d taken one class each at that had to get there to.

Fleurdelis: CONGRATULATIONS!!! I’m super excited!!! Is UCF your number 1? We should talk I definately am waiting for that letter too and to find out if I got a scholarship… Can you post your stats for other applicants? Thanks.

My breakdown was 720 CR 700 W and 650 M.

To everybody else who’s applying or waiting post your info like when you applied and your stats and GOOD LUCK!!! I’m super excited and hopefully I’ll see you all there Fall 2011!

Thank you!!! I really want to go to UCF, it is my first choice, but I’m still going to try for UF and Georgia Tech just to see what happens.

I applied around August 25th, transcript in on the 28th

Okay so let’s see I got a
31 ACT composite
1950/2400 SAT (690 M, 630 W, 630 CR)
4.0 unweighted (yeah, it’s good but I didn’t take incredibly hard classes)
4.8 weighted
No letters of reccomendation…
Okay essay (I should have worked harder on that but I guess it didn’t matter)
A lot of community service
FCCLA president
BPA treasurer
and some other clubs
No sports, no jobs

That’s about it I think :)

I will let you know if anything happens about scholarships. When should we accept and pay the $200? I heard that if you wait to accept, they offer you more scholarships.

^^^^
Do not accept admission from UCF unless you are positive you are going there. If you are waiting to hear from UF and GaTech before you make a decision, it’ll be awhile. My d applied to the same 3 schools in 2008. UF only notifies in Feb. With GaTech she heard back very quickly … like Oct, I think … but UF was not til Feb. If you are offered scholarship money to UCF, you just have to “defer” your decision about the merit money on your myUCF page until you make your decision about what school you want.

Yeah I mean I have to wait to accept until October 25th anyways cause thats the day Ill be visiting UCF Ive already visited my other top choice ASU and am gonna have to decide between the two thats gonna be hard cause I really like them both and they each have different strengths and weaknesses. I think the scholarship money I get will be a big factor because I’m OOS for UCF but not ASU so I need more money from UCF to make it work and stuff.
But hopefully by Oct 25th I’ll have gotten my scholarship offers and stuff so I’ll know…

Do you have to give the $200 deposit before you see how much financial aid you would get from them?

JARED, what term did you apply for? and what was your SAT breakdown; like what you got in each section? I don’t get the whole 1410 out of 2140? I thought it was out of 2400?
