Accepted Fall 2012

Sylacauga, Alabama!

Dean Sharpe was the speaker and took time afterwards to talk in length to my D on how the Honors College would work with her majoring in MIS

. . . .since my son is also interested in MIS, how would the honor college work with an MIS major? ( My son was not able to speak to Dean Sharpe on his visit)

mom of four – We were informed that MIS was a perfect fit for the HC – Since HC is not a degree granting college, they work with all departments. There are no MIS HC classes, but since MIS is sort of self contained, you will get the benifits of small classes within MIS, and small classes of honors non MIS classes – and still get the other perks of HC. At least that was my understanding. My daughter is very set on MIS – they really blew her away on her visit and even took time to win my two younger daughters over.
