I totally agree with @000AAAaaa and @reneesydaisy, I think we should meet together and probably start a Cornell chapter for Tau Sigma fraternity. It exists specifically for transfer students who make a 3.5 (or above) GPA in the first semester at their new transfer institution (in our case, Cornell).

@PaintTheSilence I have to find money to pay rent but other than that I dont have to pay anything:) very happy. BTW congrats on UPenn. Which one will you more likely chose?

Thanks, @Rewaska! And congrats on your package as well! I honestly have no idea. No debt is EXTREMELY attractive. However, my bf is at Penn and obviously wants me to go there. I am also waiting to hear from other schools, including my first choice. So it’s a wait and see. Cornell definitely just sky-rocketed up my list, though!

@PaintTheSilence what is yor first choice? I am still waiting, my two first choices are releasing Monday! But After I didnt get into Penn I am pretty sure I dont have to hold my breath…

Hi guys ! Just wondering if I have to complete the Idoc from college-board if I do not plan on receiving any financial aid?? I have not received an acceptance yet either.

How difficult do you guys think it will be for me to internal transfer from CALS Development Sociology to CAS Economics or ILR (maybe even SHA)? I’m looking to do a more business oriented degree. Unfortunately, external transfers can’t move to AEM.

Hey guys congrats on all your acceptances! Unfortunately they gave me the same money as my top school, 0 dollars:( Good luck with school. It was a great community and it certainly helped with the application process.

Waiting on Stanford, Brown, Columbia, and Dartmouth, so I can make the final decision on whether I would be attending Cornell or not. We just have to put our deposit down by June 1st, correct? My major, economics, by nature is so competitive when it comes to transfer admission, so I am 90% sure I will get rejected from the other colleges. I need to start looking into Cornell’s housing and such.

@aeirvus your deposit is due within 30 days of receiving your acceptance (the date on your letter) or July 1st whichever comes first. For you, obviously, it will be within 30 days of your acceptance.

So did anyone find out through the applyyourself site whether or not they were accepted before getting an official decisions email? And can someone pls post that applyyourself site link again? Thanks in advance.

Hey, everyone!! I was accepted to Cornell as a junior to major in English (I’m pre-law), and I’m trying to get to know people and maybe even find some roommates. Where’s everyone applying for housing?

@vanelephant, I think the majority of transfers choose between off campus housing or west campus housing. I think both are great choices for upperclassmen.
