My son is so excited! He got his acceptance letter today with the out of state tuition voucher!! He was accepted into Engineering. This is by far his first choice. We were shocked because we thought he would not hear until January or February. We are thrilled!!!!

Congratulations! It’s awesome that you were able to get a response so quickly! Good on Clemson.

Congratulations! Would you happen to remember when he sent his application in?

He sent his application in mid September. We were so shocked to hear this early. Everything we had read said we would not hear until January at the earliest.

If you get an out of state tuition waiver or a huge scholarship, you’ll usually know before the end of December (from past years)

Congrats!!! Hope to see you here next fall!

Congratulations! My son also applied in September, however just received a post card that they have not received his transcript from his HS! Wow, so annoying, gonna call the HS registrar tomorrow!

Congrats to your son! Do you mind stating his statistics? My son applied early to Clemson and we are also hoping for the OOS tuition waiver.

^^
Was there a place on the Clemson website where you could go to find out your admission status?

no unfortunately there is nowhere on the Clemson website to find out your application/admissions status

My son has a 4.6 weighted GPA, SAT Math 760, SAT CR 660, SAT Writing 590. He will be graduating with an AICE diploma, which is similiar to the IB program except it is through Cambridge University in England. He passed all his required AICE exams as a Junior. This year he is taking 2 AICE classes, 2 AP classes, and 2 Dual Enrollment classes. Before this all his classes were AICE or Honors classes. Hope that helps.

Congrats! Your son has worked hard so it is great to see his efforts pay off! I just know your son will love being a Tiger. :)

Congratulations! My son is a junior Engineering major from Pennsylvania. He also heard in October (3 years ago!) and was thrilled. (Nice to get the pressure over early!)

Has your son applied to the Honors College? My son loves the Honors College and all the opportunities it offers. There is a separate application that some people don’t know about -just thought I’d mention it.

Congrats again!
Go Tigers!
