I am A international student,
i was accepted to PSU for summer in early march but due to short duration and some problem i am not able to go for summer.
Do u think i have a chance for fall 2012 if i tell them ??
(FYI i applied for summer 2012 on first hand only and not for fall )
SO pls reply ASAP

There’s really no way to know. You’ll have to contact admissions and see what they can do. It’s happened in the past because there was room and the student’s scores were good enough, but that was a few months ago. All you can do is call (or email) and hope for the best.

ILL TAKE YOUR SPOT haha i want to do the opposite… did you talk to admissions? what did they say?

You have a chance if you have an internship tied to your degree goal and/or if financial issue is a compelling reach. You need to write them a letter explaining how this internship will help you in the long run grow professionally…You’ll also need the employer to write a letter as proof of the position and explaining your role. They responded fairly quickly, but May 1st deadline is around the corner so you need to act quickly…Good luck.

I applied specifically for summer, and about 2 months ago I called an admissions representative, and said I don’t want to do summer just fall and he made the change over the phone! You should be fine!

It is def possible… it just really depends on WHOM you speak too… I was in the same boat… and the first girl I spoke to was not kind at all while I just couldnt make it because in my country they dont finish school untill JULY… so she was like No i’m sorry… you can try a branch campus… So I sent an e-mail … I guess the same person answered and again said You can try a branch campus… So my mum emailed some days later and I got re-evaluated… PSU fall 2012 now :)
