Delaware has the best academic rep (with Temple a close second), but idk what else you’re looking for…I’ve never even heard of New Paltz, and name recognition is always a plus with employers ;)

So ya I’d say Delaware. I know a few people there and they love it; good college atmosphere.

Good luck!

I’d definitely say Delaware out of those. I know a few people there and they really like it. It has the best reputation out of those schools by far. I haven’t heard great things about New Paltz. Buffalo and Albany are both pretty decent and I’ve heard alright things from people I know at both. I really don’t know much about Temple. I guess it depends also on what your major is, but I like UDel from those choices.

Delaware by far

My son has good friends at all the schools you are considering except for Temple. I’m surprised the above poster hasn’t heard of New Paltz…it was named best small state school in America by Newsweek recently. I think it’s an up and comer. My son transferred there from UMiami last semester. He is having a good experience so far.

He didn’t consider Buffalo, Albany or Delaware due to their being very rural. NP is about 1 1/2 hours drive to NYC and the town is funky and fun…actually a big tourist destination. Poughkeepsie is about 20 min away with it’s big malls.

I guess it depends what sort of environment you are looking for…big or small, city or rural. Temple is in the city of Philly but I have heard the city around it has some safety issues. Visit the schools and do your research. Take a look at students review dot com. I’d be happy to answer any questions you might have or ask my son for his opinion.

UDel definitely doesn’t have a better rep than Temple. That’s definitely false. As far as IBiz goes, we have the #10 IBiz program in the U.S.

I’ve visited over 30 schools all over the country for various thins throughout the years, and I’ve definitely never heard of it. I really doubt very many people at all on the West Coast have.

I lived on the east coast for 16 years and I never heard of it until I came to CC

UDel or Temple.

Well, I got the UDel letter today and I wasn’t accepted :(. I got $5000 per year scholarship from Temple but my family doesn’t know if that will be enough… So what about

Albany vs. Buffalo?

Buffalo probably.

Of those two, I would agree Buffalo.
