Accepted. Help please!

Hi I would really appreciate it anyone could give any insight on my issue! pleaseee! I need the help!

Was anyone accepted to TCU with a cumulative GPA a little under a 3.0, but received high grades junior/ senior year?

I'm asking because my grades until recently have not been the best.

Freshman and sophmore year:
My GPA's varied somewhere between a 2.3 and 3.0 depending on how they are calculated.

Fall of Junior year:
I really messed up...I didn't pass a math class which really brought down my GPA.

If you were to average my failed math class grade, my retaken math class grade and all the rest of my academic classes I would have a:
-2.3 unweighted
-2.67 weighted

If you were to replace my retaken math class grade with my failed math class grade I would have a:
-2.6 unweighted
-3.0 weighted

...bad i know..

Spring of Junior Year:

I have a
-3.0 unweighted
-3.4 weighted

Senior year:
-3.25 unweighted
-3.75 weighted

SAT:
1670

DOES ANYONE THINK I HAVE A LEGITIMATE SHOT AT TCU?
I'm so worried that my grades are going to totally mess me up :(

When did you apply?

November. (regular decision)

It’s not all about your GPA. Your SAT is average? I think… so it’s not bad but it’s not great either.

If you had good letters of recommendation, good EC’s and strong essays I think you could make it…

Good Luck!

I do know TCU has a lot of applicants this year, check to see if they take January SAT and try to raise the score.

Yeah if I could get my SAT up a little more that would probably help. I am in their mid 50 range though.
