Thanks alot in advance. Im both anxious and happy at the same time haha.

It’s definitely easier to apply right as a HS student; I can’t tell you how many friends I’ve had who thought that they were going to switch to the business school (not only at Rutgers, but almost every school’s business school) and were in for a rude awakening.

Based on your intended major, SEBS.

Not sure

Im pretty sure you fill out a form describing your interest, traits, and likes.

Just a note, getting into the school of business is highly difficult, I’m not sure you’ll just be able to rise up one day and decide to take business at your will. (well thats how the school will see it)

SAS is better holistically, I’d go there if I wanted to transfer around but be warned, its much harder to transfer into these programs when to get into them out of hs. I’ve never heard of anyone transferring into the pharm. program, I know they have their own very rigid track. I’m not even sure you can.

I believe bio and psych are the most common majors for pre-med but hoard of kids fancy themselves premed coming in but find something better suited to them so its hard to tell. You don’t have to pick a major until the end of sophomore year so just take what interests you (are your prereqs premed) and then decide.

You’re freshman year I think you have to take expos (a writing course) but I’m not sure, I tested out of it. I did my first semester in engineering before I transfered to do math so I’m not sure :P, sorry

Your roommate is assigned to you unless you request someone. You fill out a housing form and they try and match you with someone of similar interests.

I think you’re asking if it is easier to apply as a college transfer or as a high school student? Well I’m a college transfer to Rutgers and I got in with a 3.7 gpa. In high school I had a B, B+ average. Honestly, I’m not sure what they look at. I’d have to say they want the whole package. I have a few extracurricular activities under my belt (nothing too fancy). I wrote a cool essay.

SEBS or SAS?

I got into both SEBS and SAS. I chose SAS.

Biology I’d have to say is the most common major for pre-med. I don’t know if it is a requirement to pick your first year. I’ll be going to class assignment day tomorrow so I’ll find out. Well, yes, you can technically only do pre-med courses (biology, calculus).

You go on the housing assignment website and fill out an application. I just got my assignment today!
