I came home from work today and found a small envelope from Cornell. I was all confused because I didn't realize (until now) that ILR was rolling admissions, so I opened it and the first word I read was "Congratulations!" So I'm accepted and I'm really happy right now :-)

Stats:
SAT - 1470
ACT - 34
SAT II - 790 Writing, 700 Math IIC, 700 English, US History, and Spanish
GPA: 4.6 w, 3.85 uw

Well, I am not in ILR...but I am an alum of the MILR program. Excellent program to be sure. Congratulations Smeds. If I recall, you are also considering Michigan and are waiting to hear from a couple of other programs. Your intent was to major in Poli-Sci or IR/FS and then go to Law school. Although the ILR school is obviously not related to Poli-Sci or IR/FS, it is still an amazing feeder into top Law Schools. Boy do you have your work cut out for you...especially if you get into Georgetown! hehe

Alexandre - Yes, ILR doesn't really match up with my whole poly-sci/ir thing, but ILR just seemed so interesting to me. You can bet on some posts from me around April 2nd when I'm freaking out about where to go, haha.
