<p>My son just got acceptance in Exeter and L'Ville. Waiting for Andover packet and Deerfield. Believe both are sending decisions in mail. Hopefully, he will get those. Waitlisted in Hotchkiss - disappointment.</p>

There are plenty of applicants (like myself) that don’t have a single viable option. Congratulations to your son. I know you weren’t deliberately trying to be insensitive. However, this probably isn’t the best time to make a thread like this…</p>
<p>Starkali, thanks for the note. I am certainly not trying to be insensitive. Since I saw quite a few posts on acceptances where candidates / parents are being candid about their current admissions status, I dropped this note as well. No intent to hurt anyone’s feelings. Frankly, I am so new to the prep school space that I am probably almost taking the admissions for granted. Aid is a different ballgame since it’s need based.</p>
