I just received acceptance from Purdue though waiting for decisions from UIUC, Umich, UC Berkeley.
Just wanted to know abt ur admission status...
Also, when will they notify me of scholarships/aids?</p>

<p>Congrats pulkit! Good luck with financial aid. Computer science dept @ Purdue has a good reputation in the industry and they are probably the most generous among Big 10 schools.</p>

CR:580
Math:690
Writing:650</p>
<p>Had Good Academic Record:
11th grade: 4th in a class of 268 students
10th:89% ICSE
9th: 2nd in aclass of 189 students
12th (Midterm):2nd in a class of 292 students. </p>
<p>Sent Application on 14th Jan, 2010
(was really surprised to receiove decision so quickly)</p>
<p>So did ne1 else make it through from delhi?(esp. girls)</p>

I checked application status page on 7th Feb where the decision row said ‘Admit’
Received an e-mail after 2 days…
Don’t know if they will send me the admissions letter by mail too…</p>

<p>I got accepted to Purdue too. Though it took just 1 day to get my decision. 
My app status changed to “committee review (or somethin’ like that, i don’t remember!)” on 6th Jan.
Changed to “Offer Admission” on 7th Jan. :)</p>
<p>Anyway, Purdue’s kind of a backup for me.
Waiting for Stanford, UIUC, U-M, and Georgia Tech to gimme a quick decision! (too bad they have specific dates when they notify the admission decision, except U-M)</p>

No, I didn’t apply 4 fin. aid…
lowers ur chance of admission…
But Purdue has many merit based aid for international students
(1 of d most generous of Big Ten Univs)
Though the pool is very competitive…
