I just got accepted into Carnegie Mellon: Computer Science! with a 1410 on SAT and a 96.25 GPA
The Computer Science school is Ranked as #1 (or 3, i forgot) in US News with MIT and Stanford, it is an extremely difficult school to get in
But is it possible to reject me now?, i have had a bad case of senioritis after the mid marking period, and i had highly doubted i would get in carnegie mellons computer science program. but now that i am in i am afraid of rejection due to my low grades in my classes for my 3rd marking period…but i will pick it up in the 4th marking period …so is it still possible to reject me for doing bad? and what are usually that stats on rejection after an acceptance

Most schools only send a year end transcript with the final average grade for senior year--no quarterly breakdowns, semester grades (except for courses that were not continued after the semester) no exam grades, no comments. Ask your GC what your school sends, and get cracking on your schoolwork. It is entirely possible to get your acceptance rescinded if you fall too far down, especially with a nice juicy waitist with kids who have gone UP third quarter in their grades, and have excellent senior year performances. If I were an adcom, I would not hesitate to do a switcheroo. The hard worker deserves it for working through that senioritus. And I have one who has been in lock down mode and with a tutor for a disasterous mid year report. Am waiting for the 3rd term grade right now as a matter of fact, and it had better have improved.

The people on this site have a skewed perception of what constitutes "bad grades." Quit crying if you havea 85% average. Universities will only think about rescinding admissions if your grades drop into the low 2.00 GPA range. So if your grades have dropped into the 60% range, then I'd be worried.
