Accepted into CLAS; any way of transferring into the marshall school of business?

I got into the economics major at usc. However, when I read my letter of acceptance I realized that I mistakenly put economics as my first choice major even though I want to go into Marshall.

Is there any way to transfer into marshall before school even starts? If not, when (and how difficult is it) can I transfer into marshall?

thanks in advance

Are you saying you want to be in Marshall or major in economics? Because Marshall doesn’t have an economics major, that’s Dornsife.

yes i want to be in marshall

i got accepted into Dornsife and i want to leave there and go into marshall

I’d suggest you contact Marshall and ask them about switching from Econ major to whatever major you plan to pursue in Marshall and ask them what process is required to switch. IF they will allow it before orientation, that would be ideal, since that way you can register for the appropriate courses. Would recommend you call as soon as possible.

Our D started as a Sociology transfer and then switched to undecided and then switched to cinema. It all took time while she figured out what she wanted and applied and waited for acceptance into cinema, but worked out for her. Am not clear on the process of switching from one school to another and believe Marshall can best direct you.

Thanks
