I am a senior graduating this spring and I have been accepted into a post bacc program that leads to a masters in education at my current university (Univ of MN - Twin cities) The program begins this summer. I have just been notified that I might be receiving an incomplete for a 3 credit internship I completed last fall due to a lack of proper procedure/enrollment for the credit in the internship. So I might be completing this semester with 117 credits plus an I. Great.
I was told I was a very strong applicant, and have had multiple conversations with the professors, being told that I am a very good fit. I am planning on contacting them soon, but would rather wait until it is necessary, as I am not 100% on the possibility of the incomplete. I know that I might be able to take graduate courses as an undergrad, but im sure I will need to be enrolled in the actual program to receive any federal funding.
Anyone know any possible ways for me to begin this summer? I could get the incomplete resolved by the end of this summer. It would be extremely frustrating for me to have to wait a whole year to begin the program because of this. I apologize as I know I am reaching here. Im sure there are no exceptions to the 120 credit rule, which is likely a federal policy, but maybe not? Wondering if anyone had any similar experience. Perhaps in a case by case basis, it can be up to the discretion of the graduate school?
Thanks for any insight!
