Accepted into RSI, SSP, and SIMR 2020 but didn't attend

Last school year, I was accepted into RSI, SSP, and Stanford SIMR. SIMR was cancelled, but RSI and SSP moved to an online format. However, I chose not to attend either of these two programs because I had an internship at a local university that I wanted to continue. I chose this path because 1) the internship was paid, 2) there were some wet-lab/physical things that I could do at the local opportunity, 3) it was free, and 4) it was a longer commitment.

I’m wondering if AOs will see that I was at least accepted into these prestigious programs as sort of an “award/honor,” and if they will note this when reviewing my application. Does it still hold some weight? If so, where should I write or list these programs?

While I wouldn’t put any of these programs on a resume if you did not choose to attend, you must have done something to get into those programs, and that stuff is what can go on a resume.
