<p>My question is that if i applied to Rutgers as a high school senior for the fall2011/spring2012 school year and i got accepted, but instead i went to penn state. Can i still attend Rutgers for the spring 2012 semester without submitting a transfer application?</p>
<p>Did you 'defer" rutgers or decline. I assume you declined, and that you would have to submit a transfer application.</p>
<p>However, If you call Rutgers I’m sure they can clear it up for you.</p>
<p>Well technically speaking I didn’t defer or decline. Rutgers told me i was admitted and I left it at that, I didn’t decline them or defer I just like i guess basically didn’t contact them anymore about my decision</p>
<p>I think that’s basically a decline.</p>
<p>But call them – who knows maybe they have some kind of policy that previously admitted students get special treatment.</p>

<p>I believe, if it still works that way, you won’t have to resubmit an application or an application fee. They will simply reuse your application from last year with some current updated information. At least, that’s how it worked 2 years ago.</p>
