Hi i got accepted to MCS, my second choice, and waitlisted at CIT. can i decide to enroll at cmu if the financial aid is good and still remain on the waitlist for CIT? Or must i either enroll in mcs or stay on the waitlist for cit? If i can do both, is it likely i will get off the waitlist and into cit? And would i be given preference over those on the waitlisted who werent admitted to carnegie mellon at all? Thanks!

Or wiuld it be easier to transfer internally into CIT? I planned on doing biomedical engineerimg would my transfer be likely to go through?

that’s funny because i got into cit and waitlisted at mcs (my 3rd choice)… hm. sorry, i don’t have an answer. just wanted to share good luck!
CONGRATS by the way!!

Transfering internally isn’t generally hard as long as you do alright for the first two semesters or so (I moved from MCS to SCS, and have a friend who transfered from MCS to CIT).
