I am an international student from Brazil, but I’ve been living in CA for more than 1 year. I’ve been accepted to some universities, and I just wanted an opinion on which one to go. I know you will probably say that i need to see was best for me and blablabla but I just want an opinion, so i can know what you think would be the best. I dont know exactly what I want to major in, but im seriously thinking about Theater Arts (Like costume design, set design, or even acting)
Ive been accepted to: CSU Fullerton, CSUN and San Francisco State
Which one would have better art majors? whats your opinion?
Also, I’m still considering CC. I wanted to have a college experience and make friends, sometime in a CC is complicated. I was thinking about Pasadena City College, LA Valley and Glendale Community college. What would be better? Is one of them better for Arts? Any other suggestion?

Oi, tudo bom? Actually SF State has a fairly noteworthy art department, and is especially strong in the media arts. As well, San Francisco–tem muitos brasileiros que vivem na cidade , então você já terá uma comunidade! Espero que seja útil para você…

Take a visit to SF, I think you might be pleasantly surprised–ate ja!
SF has a strong Art dept - i don’t know about art at the others.
Just go accepted do SDSU. Adding this one to the list, does anyone know how’s the arts department?
I just recently visited SFSU and their arts department is AMAZING (one persons opinion, but indeed it is very strong). LA and SF are completely different, SF has a very “artsy” and liberal vibe. The campus itself isn’t in the heart of the city and is near Daly City, South SF and San Bruno so if you ever miss the suburbs its a quick 10-15 min drive there.
