<p>I blew iced tea through my nose as I read "Congratulations! The admissions selection committee in the School of Hotel Administration has approved your application..." :o</p>

<p>My Math I was a 580, Math II 570, CR 700
I was ranked 0.254, so technically not even top 25% at a low-ranked, public school.</p>

<p>Also half URM/First generation</p>

<p>I think this just goes to show that the Hotel school is really looking for people they believe will succeed...I don't think I could have been any less qualified in terms of numbers.</p>

<p>Congratulations to anyone else in ILR and the Hotel School that got their decisions..</p>

<p>Congratulations. I’m sure the admissions is well-deserved. Realize that your stats are more the “exception” than the “rule”, even for the Hotel school, but I’m guessing your ECs and essays came across as an excellent fit.</p>
